Let Go of Doubt

In Matt. 14:31 Peter is walking, on water (which is awesome) but then he falls in. But Jesus grabs him up and says "You of little faith, why did you doubt?" Okay So why did Peter fall in? Well Jesus said it was because of his doubt. Jesus told his disciples they could wilt fig trees with their words if they did not doubt what they said. Doubt is an enemy in our lives. Now a little doubt might seems harmless. When the serpent was tempting Eve to eat the fruit, he started out by saying, “Did God really say not to eat from any tree in the garden?” Satan is the father of lies, and a lot of his lies, like this one, are trying to get you to doubt God…what God has said. Doubt can have us eating the wrong fruit or falling in the water. And when we want a mountain out of our way, doubt can have that mountain staring right back at us. What God has said is true. You are a child of the most high, created in Christ Jesus to do great things, that everything your hands touch is blessed, blessed in the city and blessed in the country, and through Christ all things are possible. Let go of doubt.
