The World's System is Broken

You know that if you ask, the world will give you their ideas. They have ideas about money, dating, marriage, they’ll tell you about science and how you used to look a lot like an ape or something, and they might give you philosophy about why it's really cool to drink beer, or that you'll have more friends if you smoke, or even how fun it can be to make fun of others or to look at the wrong kind of stuff. The world has an idea about everything, but their plan just isn't working. Colossians 2:8 tells us to, "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ." Christ's message is different than the world’s. It teaches you to love your enemies, to give, to love your spouse, to have hope, to believe in God the creator, to take care of your body, which is the temple of the Lord, and to have joy in your heart. He tells you to keep trying, keep hoping, keep praying, and keep winning. Yes, Christ's message is a different philosophy, and here is the good news, it actually works. Tried and proven, it's a message that just won't go away, and you can live that message today.
