Stinkin Thinkin

II Corinthians 10:5 says "...we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."  So you think right?  and not every thought you think is Christ like.  But God wants you to work on this.  He says, take them thoughts in your head and make them agree with Christ.  So your thinking, "Oh, I can't stand that Jimmy .." but then you're all, "oh wait, Christ was all about love."  So then you grab that nasty Jimmy thought and you chuck it in prison and you say "NO, bad thought.”  Now different thoughts will come and go, but which ones do you really think about.  Do you think about how mad you are at your husband all day? Or are you replaying something someone said to you over and over?  So which thoughts are you having that aren't obedient to Christ.  If you can stop the thought early you will save yourself a mess of problems, stress,  and heart ache.  God is teaching us here that it is all starting in your head, in your thoughts.  So when what you think starts to stink, you’ve got stinking thinking, oh, okay, that’s enough rhyming.  But capture them thoughts and tell em to act like Jesus.
