Put the Blame Where the Blame Is Due

Are you ever trying to do something God called you to, but it seems like an uphill battle that you are losing. In I Thessalonians 2:  Paul is wanting to go see the Thessalonians, he explains in verse 18 “For we wanted to come to you – certainly I Paul did again and again, but Satan stopped us.”  Paul knew who was trying to stop him, Satan.  And Paul put the blame where the blame was due.  Now, Satan has been defeated by Christ, but still sometimes the enemy tries to stop us from doing something God has called us to.  Hey if Paul gets stopped sometimes, then don’t get discouraged when you hit a road block.  Paul didn’t give up or act defeated but instead, in chapter 3 and verse 11 paul prays “Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you..”   yeah that’s right, if there is any fighting to do with Satan, get God involved, Get some prayer going!  Don’t fight by yourself, but ask God for help.  And like Paul, make sure you know who to blame when things are going wrong.  So what happens to Paul? Well about 3 years later Paul returned to the Thessalonians.  God wins again!  And when God wins, you win.
