Build, Teach, Win!

Do you like to win?  Well no one hopes to lose.  Competition is in our nature.  We want to know we are better at stuff than others. In fact, sometimes we want to know we are the best and most important employee in the company, and that the company will fall apart if we leave.  That the sports team cannot survive a game if we don’t show.  But this is more of a world idea.  Jesus showed us a different way.   From the time he started His ministry he began to develop those around him, teaching them to do what he did.  He showed the disciples how to preach, how to pray, how to live, then he sent them out to minister on their own.  He watched them, He gave them all the tools he had to give, He desired for them to win.  He even encouraged them to do greater things than He had done.  We can do this.  We can develop those around you, and desire for them to win. Help another sales associate land the big deal, a sister do the dishes, or a teammate score a goal.  It won’t make you worse, it makes others better.  Help raise others up, encourage them to try.  Want them to win!  This is how Jesus did it, and we can too.
