What's God Like?

So what is God like? What does He want for us? Learning about God and His desire for you is as simple as reading the Bible. Sometimes I hear people say, "Well, I’m just not sure what God wants for me." And well, that may be true, but you don't have to "not know." because He provided the answers for us in the Word. Here is a scripture from the Old Testament giving us just a small snapshot of how God desires for us to live. Leviticus 26:4 says, "I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit. Your threshing will continue until grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and you will eat all the food you want and live in safety in your land." Wow! That tells us a lot about God. God says here that He wants you to be blessed, to get rain when it is supposed to happen, make sure the work you do produces, that you have fruit, and apparently more grapes than a person could ever need, to eat all the food you want (healthy food I’m sure), and to be safe. Could you use a mess of grapes? Yes? Well praise God, here they come.
