All You Can See

When God is giving the Israelites the Promised Land, He tells them in Numbers 34 what the boundaries of their land will be. He explains it by saying things like, "On the East your southern boundary will start from the end of the Salt Sea, cross South…” and so on. So where did these boundaries come from? I mean, why have these boundaries? Well, it may have started back in Genesis 13, where 440 years earlier, Abraham is in the Promised Land and God says in verse 14, "Lift up your eyes from where you are and look North and South, East and West. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever." It was how much land? Well, it was all of the land that Abraham could see. Now, the Promised Land is far too big for him to have been able to see it all, so Abraham was seeing beyond what his natural eyes showed him. Jesus lived a limitless life every day, because He could see what we cannot. Let's learn from this today and allow God to begin to enlarge what we can see. What can God do in your life? Can He change your tomorrow? Does prayer still get answered? Can miracles still happen? Today, let's all begin to see bigger!
