Recognize Christ

So someone is all "Hey remember me.." and you're all "umm, ya, oh ya, bro, how are you." But really you are having a hard time recognizing them.  So in Luke 2 Jesus has arrived on the planet, and some recognized who He was, even as a baby.  They had never seen Him before, but God still revealed Christ to them.  It says in verse 38 that a prophetess named Anna who lived at the temple day and night recognized Jesus.  It says "She gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem."  This woman did not miss Christ, but she recognized Him.  Okay, so where was she?  Well she was in the Temple, the Lord's house.  Sometimes we miss Christ.  He shows up in many ways in our life, but do we recognize Him?  Many will miss Christ, even looking right at Him, they will not notice the signs.  A star above the house, but maybe they are not around God’s house enough.  The signs of God's gift to us is all around us.  Be like Anna. Learn to recognize Christ.  Point Him out and tell others.  Speak about Him to those who will listen.  Help others see too.
