Light In the Dark

In Daniel chapter two, Daniel tells and interprets the King of Babylon’s dream, and the King is so stoked that he puts Daniel as one of his chief leaders.  So here’s Daniel, a man of God, serving as a leader in a very messed up dark godless nation.  It reminds me of how the same kind of thing happened to Joseph in Egypt. Again, a godly man elevated to a high place in a very dark place.  It shows me something about our God.  God is good with his people being in charge, he desires for those who fear and serve God, who are His children through faith in Christ, to be running the show.  Boss, head Kahuuna.  A great man of God has no problem serving either, like Daniel and Joseph did.  But in the end, as you've learned how to serve, well remember that God wants us in places of influence.  He brought Esther up to the top to save the whole nation.  He calls you a king and a priest.  So where are you?  Okay, there you are.  Now let me ask you this.  Where will you go?  Or even better yet.. Where does God want you to go?  Top of the hill, now get out your light, let it shine let it shine let it shine.

  1. Someone may ask, does the end of the journey come? I am not sure.
