Success At Last

There was a God loving king named Hezekiah.  Hezekiah was greatly blessed by God, he had treasures upon treasures, fields, flocks and an abundance of all kinds of everything.  It says in II Chronicles 32:30 "He succeeded in everything he undertook."  But where did all this success start?  Well, in chapter 29 the first thing Hezekiah did as king was restore the House of the Lord, fix it up, get the doors open. Then he funded it.  He gave from his personal possessions, and then commanded the people to give to the temple. The house of the Lord was a mess, it wasn't influential, it wasn't even pretty, so Hezekiah decided to help, get involved, get er fixed up.  He put God and God's house first.  This is a principle. When you get involved with God's house, He will get involved with yours.  Sometimes good people say, "The church today is a mess, so I don't go."  But Hezekiah said it differently.  He said, the temple is a mess, I better get involved and help.  Are there areas in God's house that need improvement, be like Hezekiah, get involved, Put God's house first.  And then like Hezekiah, you can believe and expect that God will give you success in everything you do.
