Betrayal

Have you ever been betrayed?  Betrayal is tough to deal with.  Jesus own disciple, Judas, who saw the miracles, heard the teachings, walked and talked with the son of God, he betrayed Jesus.  It's surprising, but Jesus wasn't surprised.  He knew it was going to happen.  Betrayal is not old, and it's not new.  Today it's the same, a business partner is betrayed for money, a husband is betrayed by his wife, a friend is betrayed by a friend, a child is betrayed by a father and Batman is betrayed by Robin. Sometimes when we are betrayed we think there is something wrong with us, but Christ was betrayed, and there was nothing wrong with him.  So how did Christ handle it?  You know, Jesus never even looked back.  Jesus didn't let betrayal slow him down for a second, he just kept goin..  And then on the cross Jesus asks God to forgive everyone.  So you've been betrayed.  And you may be betrayed again.  Try to do it like Jesus, just keep going, stay on target with God's plan for your life, and choose forgiveness.  Don't let betrayal tell you how you should feel, or what you can do, or who you are.  Let Jesus do that!  He’ll never betray you.

  1. God bless you all I just downloaded this app and ran into this which talks about betrayal . It touched me for i have been betrayed by my husband and unlike Jesus I constanly look back to the point where I live in that moment even though its been years since it happened. This has strained my marriage to the point that he wants a divorce. These words really made me think about my actions since the main character is Jesus the holy one if he who had no fault was betrayed and got up and lived then I too need to get up and live ! Praise God <3
