Stand Before Kings

What has God placed before you to do?  You know, what are you doing tomorrow?  And don’t say nothing.  If you are going to school, then that is what God placed before you in your life.  Do you play a sport?  Are you working tomorrow?  What has God placed before you?  Okay, now ask yourself, am I good at what I am doing?  Proverbs 22:29 “Do you see a skilled man in his work?  He will serve before kings.”  The skilled man here found great success.  Are you skilled at what you do?  If you are going to school, become skillful at learning.  Tell everyone around you to stop bugging you, embrace your text books and read when you aren’t required to.  Study harder, become better at school then everyone else.  Become better at your job then others.  Faster, smarter, more efficient, become skilled.  Get their earlier, work longer.  Notice the scripture doesn’t ask if you like your work?  I know there are things that you like to do, and anyone can spend time becoming skillful at what we like to do.  This proverb is asking you to become skillful at things you have to do.  Do this, and create a pattern in your life of excellence in all things, and you will find great promotion.
