I was traveling the other day, and I told my kids that when I got back I'd bring them each a little something. It was a promise. You know, God has promises for us, too…many, many promises. So what are they? My kids were so excited for what I promised them. Are we excited for God's promises? In Isaiah 61, as Jesus is prophesied to come and set us all free, the passage goes on to say that God is going to enter into an everlasting covenant with us, His children. Jesus used His own blood on the cross to cut that covenant with you. It's a covenant that says we are family now. In verse 9, it goes on to say that "All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed." That's you. God wants you to stand out. He wants you to be significant. Not only is He saying that He wants to bless you, He is saying He wants to bless you so much that people around will notice. The unbelievers and lost will notice you have favor, wisdom, joy and peace. It will be apparent that you are different, different in a good way. Now get ready!
I think we are truly blessed
