Better Than You Might Think

Have you ever quit something cuz you felt like you weren’t any good at it.  Well in Acts 7:22 Stephan is describing Moses to the people and he says this, "Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and action.." Oh yeah, Moses grew up in the Egyptian Palace, so he was quite used to talking to Egyptian royalty. Now if you remember the Moses burning bush story, Moses told God he couldn't speak good enough to talk to Pharaoh. Interesting. But Stephan described him as “powerful in speech…”  Apparently Moses was powerful in speech, he just didn't know it. In fact, he was the perfect man for the job, the perfect choice to go and talk to Pharaoh. God knew it, Stephan here said it, but Moses didn't know it. You know what, God is choosing you for some stuff that you may not think you can do. You might be thinking, oh I'm not good enough at this or that and what's funny is… if God says you are, well,  then you are. He made you. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. You are amazing, wonderful, righteous. Now go get them people out of Egypt, part some seas, do something.
