Chestnuts and Jack Frost

Okay, so here's the thing, I have never had chestnuts roasting on an open fire, or jack frost nipping at my nose.  I live in the city, where open fires in the street are "frowned upon".  And let's keep jack away from my big nose thank you very much.  Christmas is a reminder of stuff like Isaiah 9:6 as it says "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."  This is a reminder that God is bringing good gifts to us, good things in to our life.  He has given up a lot to make your life better.  Now there is a real devil and a messed up world, both of which might try to make your life worse, but God is on your side, and He has given all to you.  Remember, for to us a child is born - a wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting father  -  for you to receive life, joy, and peace.  Joy to the World, the Lord has come.  And Peace on Earth since now we have a new leader, the Prince of Peace.  See now, don't you feel better already?
