Bring It

In Philippians 4:11 Paul writes "Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content"  Yep, Paul said it, no matter what's happening in his life, he's content.  And if you remember, he's been flogged, imprisoned, beaten, persecuted, abased, and through it all, yeah, He's like, "ahh, it's all good."  You see what's happening around us doesn't have to change what is going on inside of us.  We can be anchored in our soul, strong, immoveable, and content, so that we can rejoice in the Lord always.  So you might be all.. "That's impossible, how can you not be shaken sometimes.."  Well, it's possible, Paul did it.  But how?  Well, he says he had to learn how. So it was a process, he had to decide to be content, and then he had to try to stay content.  Now I'm not saying that when life hits you, that you'd say "Thank you may I have another."  No, we must rely on God's strength, it is the joy of the Lord that is to be our strength. Have God at your side, get to feeling content, then when life comes at you, you're all, bring it.
