Preparing for the Win

Luke 2:41 starts a story of Jesus at the age of 12 at the temple, and he was sitting among the teachers, asking questions, and also giving answers to their questions.  Everyone was amazed.  Jesus was sharing and he was learning. That’s right, he was around teachers and asking questions.  The passage goes on to say that as Jesus grew up, he grew in wisdom.  You see even from a young age he was preparing.  So how old are you?  Well are you too young to begin preparing?  Nope.  How about too old?  Nope.  And if Jesus has to prepare, well then so do we.  So what do you want to be good at.  Jesus would change the world through His message, he was preparing to teach.  So for this reason He studied and learned, and became the greatest teacher of all time.  What can you do with your time to prepare you for life.  Maybe you've gotten really good at watching TV through painstaking training, or video game playing, or Facebooking.  Now I'm just teasing, but lets get around some teachers like Jesus did, let's ask some questions, let's engage in learning and growing, let us prepare for the game.  Games aren't won on the game field, games are won on the practice field.
