Not Too Old

So the Israelites have been in the promised land taken territory for 5 years, and Caleb comes to his leader Joshua and reminds him about some land that God had promised him way back when they were in the wilderness.  45 years ago.  Now Caleb is 85 years old, and here is what he says.."So here I am today, 85 years old!  I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out."  You see when God spoke that word, Caleb remembered it.  For 45 years Caleb remembered.  He knew the promise was for him, and he wanted it.  That vision, that dream, it kept him young, vibrant, ready to fight.  So after this Caleb does go up and take the land.  Not just any land either, it was the land where the most feared people in all the promised land lived.  A huge and mighty people named the Anakites.  So has God given us some promises that we don't have yet.  They are promised to us, but we aren't experiencing them?  How old is to old for that dream, that vision in your heart.  Well, according to Caleb, the answer is never. If you are still here on this planet, well then, remember what God has promised you, now go get it.
