Have you ever noticed that the best things in life take a bit of work? Like you know that a good work out makes you feel better, but it's tough to go every week. And its easier for me to come home from work, sit on the couch and do nothing, but it isn't whats best for my family. So doing something special for my wife, although it takes some extra work, ends up in me feeling better, and my life getting better. You see, on the other end of a good effort is a better life. Better relationships, better feeling, and happier. So now think about church. Going to church is what God asks us to do in his Word, and going does make things seem better, more hopeful. I mean 6 days a week the world is trying to drag me down. I need someone to remind me to try harder, and to love deeper, and to do the right thing. It's part of God's design, and he designs stuff better than me. So yeah, I get it, on Sunday it'd be easier to not go to church, lay around, take it slow, ya know, easy like Sunday morning. Actually, that is sounding nice, come to think of it, I think I might just skip this week. Ahhh, no wait, easier isn't always better.
