Options

Sometimes doing the right thing doesn’t seem all that fun at first.  Like praying for enemies, forgiving, and turning the cheek.  Ow (now the other side)  But God never promised that doing the right thing would be easy.  If it were everyone would do it.  But doing the right thing always leads to life.   Sometimes people get tired of doing right.  Isaiah 40:29 “he gives strength to the weary, and increases the power of the weak.”  Yeah, God knows you, and He knew that sometimes we might get tired of pushing on, believing for the miracle, standing on the word, praying and asking for help.  He knew.  But what options are there?  Either we quit trying, or we try harder.  So God says that when we hit some discouragement that He would give us strength, and increase our power.”  Now why would He do that.  Does He give us strength and power so that we would give up.  So that we would be defeated?  Nope, He’s giving us just what we need to win.  Because on the other side of this weariness is a win, the walls of Jericho are coming down, God is spurring you onward with perseverance and strength.  You thought a cup of coffee was a jolt of energy, ask God to come through and energize you in every way.
